What is FullControl?
FullControl is an Android application designed to control your bill expenses by limiting outgoing calls, messages and data usage. It also provides an application and system settings locker for additional protection.
Do I need to root my device?
Root is not required, starting from FullControl 1.3
Is FullControl supported on my device?
FullControl is built to work with limited functionalities starting from Android version 1.6, and with full functionality on Android 2.0 or better. However, due to the high number of Android customizations in the market, it is recommended to download FullControl (Trial) for free and use it (for up to 35 days) to check if all the functionalities works as expected.
What is the difference between FullControl and FullControl (Trial)?
The trial version will work for up to 35 days after installation, after that period, FullControl will be automatically disabled. Also, the Backup / Restore tools are disabled in the trial version.
I forgot my FullControl password. How can I enter into the FullControl main menu again?
If you configured the password recovery e-mail address (as recommended), you can simply click on the Forgot your password? link and an e-mail with a temporary password will be sent to the configured address. Note that an active Internet connection is required for this process to work properly.

Usage questions

How do I enter into the FullControl main menu?
The FullControl main menu (also referred as administrator menu) can be accessed by touching on the FullControl icon through the default Android applications menu. Alternatively, you can slide the Android notification tray and touch the FullControl icon. In both cases you will need to enter the administrator password that you configured when you first installed FullControl.
How do I recover the administrator password to enter the FullControl main menu?
In the login screen, touch the Forgot your password? link and a temporary password will be sent to the configured e-mail. If you don't see the link, that means that you didn't configure a password recovery e-mail address, unfortunately in this case you won't be able to enter the main menu again.
How do I check the remaining calls / SMS / mobile data for this month?
Enter the main menu, and touch the Statistics option. A pop-up screen will display the remaining calls / SMS / mobile data for this month.
How do I change the FullControl administrator password?
Enter the main menu, and touch the General settings option. Then, touch the Change password option and enter the new password. Note that the new password will be requested twice to avoid typos.
Important:It is extremely recommended to configure a password reset e-mail address, otherwise in case of losing the password and depending on the selected configuration you may literally brick your phone.
How do I set / change the password reset e-mail address?
Enter the main menu, and touch the General settings option. Then, touch the E-mail for password reset option and enter the e-mail address.
How do I add a trusted phone number?
Enter the main menu, and touch the General settings option. Then, touch the Trusted phone numbers option. Use the menu key and choose either Add number to enter the number manually or Pick contact to choose from your contacts list.
How do I change the bill closing day?
Enter the main menu, and touch the General settings option. Then, touch the Bill reset day option. Use the plus and minus buttons to increment or decrement the reset day, or click on the number to change the day using the keyboard.
How do I restrict the outgoing phone calls to trusted numbers only?
Enter the main menu, and touch the Calls restriction option. Then, make sure that the Trusted numbers only option is checked.
How do I limit outgoing phone calls to a specific number of minutes per month?
Enter the main menu, and touch the Calls restriction option. Then, make sure that the Limit calls per month option is checked.
How do I change the number of minutes per month for the outgoing phone calls limit?
Enter the main menu, and touch the Calls restriction option. Touch the Minutes per month option and type the number of minutes per month that you want to set as the new limit.
Can I avoid accounting outgoing calls to trusted numbers?
Yes. Enter the main menu, and touch the Calls restriction option. Then, make sure that the Don't account trusted option is checked.
Can I allow calls to trusted numbers even if the monthly limit was already reached?
Yes. Enter the main menu, and touch the Calls restriction option. Then, make sure that the Always allow trusted option is checked.
How do I restrict sending SMS to trusted numbers only?
Enter the main menu, and touch the Messages restriction option. Then, make sure that the Trusted numbers only option is checked.
Important: When this option is enabled, the standard messaging application is replaced with a simplified version that only allows sending regular SMS (with no attachments) to the specified phone numbers in the trusted list.
How do I limit sending a specific number of SMS per month?
Enter the main menu, and touch the Messages restriction option. Then, make sure that the Limit outgoing messages option is checked.
Important: When this option is enabled and the monthly limit is reached, the standard messaging application will be temporarily replaced with a simplified version that only allows sending regular SMS (with no attachments) until the day of the month that the phone bill resets.
How do I change the number of SMS allowed per month?
Enter the main menu, and touch the Messages restriction option. Touch the Messages per month option and type the number of SMS per month that you want to set as the new limit.
Can I avoid accounting outgoing SMS to trusted numbers?
Yes. Enter the main menu, and touch the Messages restriction option. Then, make sure that the Don't account trusted option is checked.
Can I allow sending SMS to trusted numbers even if the monthly limit was already reached?
Yes. Enter the main menu, and touch the Messages restriction option. Then, make sure that the Always allow trusted option is checked.
How do I limit the mobile data usage per month?
Enter the main menu, and touch the Mobile data restriction option. Then, make sure that the Limit mobile data option is checked.
How do I change the amount of data traffic allowed per month?
Enter the main menu, and touch the Mobile data restriction option. Touch the Data per month option and use the plus and minus buttons to adjust the data traffic amount and unit. You can also click on the numeric field to adjust the value using the keyboard.
How do I change the update interval in which FullControl checks for the data usage?
Enter the main menu, and touch the Mobile data restriction option. Touch the Update interval option and select one of the predefined intervals.
How do I avoid Android settings from being changed?
Enter the main menu, and touch the Apps restriction option. Then, make sure that the Application lock option is checked.
How do I block a specific application or setting?
Enter the main menu, and touch the Apps restriction option and make sure that the Application lock option is checked. Then touch the List of locked apps option to open the list of applications and settings. Use the checkbox on the right of each item to ensure that it will be blocked.
How do I start the FullControl configuration assistant?
Enter the main menu, and touch the Configuration assistant option to start the assistant.
